Spotlight 29 Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino announce Matthew Bruce as new director of marketing

Spotlight 29 Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino proudly announce that Matthew Bruce has been promoted to director of marketing. In his new role, Bruce will be responsible for developing, implementing and analyzing all aspects and activities of the marketing department, including advertising, promotions, loyalty programs, special events, player development and database marketing at both of the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians’ properties, Spotlight 29 Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino.

“Matthew brings a wealth of experience in casino marketing and provides a fresh and exciting perspective for our team,” said General Manager, Tom Sedlock. “I am pleased that Matthew will help play a leading role in driving revenue efforts for both of our exciting properties.” 

Bruce was previously the marketing manager for both Spotlight 29 Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino, having managed marketing efforts, advertising, player development, special events and much more. He has more than 13 years of gaming experience in the highly competitive Southern California gaming market. Prior to this post with the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians, he was Casino Marketing Manager and on the opening team for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians flagship property Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa.
